The Audi SQ5 offers superb ride comfort and is as refined and practical as it is fast and composed, so it should be one of the easiest sports SUVs to live with. However, if you’re looking for something that will tempt you to take the scenic route home just for the fun of it, there are better alternatives.
The engine
We haven’t tried this 201bhp 2.0-litre diesel engine yet, but for most buyers it probably isn’t worth the extra outlay over the TFSI petrol.
