The Alpina B3 Touring is extremely fast, yet combines everyday comfort with understated looks (especially compared with the BMW M3 Touring). This is one of the best examples of tuning firm Alpina working its magic.
The trim
This trim level adds some sporty styling and a stiffer ‘M Sport’ suspension setup. We recommend going for this and adding the optional M Sport Pro pack because the adaptive suspension it adds makes it the most comfortable version of the 3 Series.
The engine
The perky 181bhp 320i is an excellent option if you don’t fancy a diesel or have the option to plug-in very often. Its rev-happy nature sits well with the 3 Series' sporty character.
