The fully electric BMW i7 luxury limo has an astonishing range of tech, treats its passengers like royalty and is great to drive. If you do buy one, we think the eDrive50 version in entry-level Elegance trim is the smart choice.
The trim
Entry-level Excellence trim comes with 19in alloy wheels, leather upholstery, ambient interior lighting, a panoramic glass sunroof, heated front and rear seats, wireless phone-charging and a head-up display. But while this is enough to make it our pick of the range, we’d recommend adding the Executive Pack and the Technology Plus Pack.
The engine
Unless you live in a part of the country where four-wheel drive is a must, this version of the i7 is the one we'd recommend. Its 449bhp output is enough for effortless acceleration (0-62mph takes 5.5 seconds), plus it has an official range of up to 379 miles.
