The Deepal S07 has its generous standard kit, good interior and boot space, and long warranty going for it. However, it’s held back by a low maximum charging speed and an average (bordering on subpar) official range. In saying that, the S07’s biggest weaknesses come down to the driving experience, because the ride feels unsettled and the handling quite loose. The Skoda Elroq and Smart #5 are much better choices.
