The Dacia Bigster is a very family-friendly SUV at a wallet-friendly cost. Its pros mostly come down to its vast space inside and practical features, but fortunately the Bigster also offers a good, largely comfortable driving experience. Still, if you have a higher budget, we’d point you towards the Kia Sportage. It’s even better to drive and its interior is of a higher quality.
The trim
This is the entry-level trim but the kit list is decent – it includes 17in alloy wheels, dual-zone climate control, a 7in digital driver's display, a 10.1in infotainment touchscreen and cruise control.
The engine
This mild-hybrid version comes with four-wheel drive and is only available with Extreme trim. It's the slowest version, with an official 0-62mph time of 11.2 seconds.
