The model
Read full reviewIf you're looking for a small package that offers cultured motoring on a sensible budget, then you must check out the Hyundai i10. It's relatively spacious, comes with a smart-looking interior, a great infotainment system and it rides and drives more impressively than plenty of bigger, pricier cars. The list price might look a bit steep, but if you check out the monthly PCP deals you'll find it's more affordable than it initially looks.
The trim
See full equipmentArguably the main reason for buying N Line trim is the more powerful 99bhp 1.0 T-GDi engine, although you get a few other upgrades, too. These include trim-specific 16in alloy wheels, a sportier front grille with integrated LED running lights, a dual-exit chrome exhaust, LED rear lights and red stripes on your front and rear bumpers. Inside you get an 8.0in touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, N-Line branding in a few choice spots, a dark headlining and red detailing on the vents. A Tech Pack that includes nav and wireless phone charging is optional.
The engine
See full engine specsTo make the most powerful engine in the range, Hyundai turbocharges the 1.0-litre three-cylinder base engine, increasing power to 99bhp, and dropping the 0-62mph time to 10.5sec. On the upside, it has plenty of verve from low in the rev-range, but it’s less efficient than the non-turbo engines and is only available in sporty N Line trim.
