The C-Class Estate is comfy, fuel efficient and well equipped. We just wish the interior quality lived up to the badge and used prices were a little lower.
The trim
This trim level gets a 12.3in digital driver display and an 11.9in touchscreen running the latest MBUX infotainment system with wireless smartphone integration and a reversing camera. You also get LED headlights, blind-spot monitoring, leather trim and heated front seats.
The engine
The C300e plug-in hybrid is the C-Class that makes most sense if you're a company car driver or can charge at home. It can officially travel for up to 68 miles on electric power, with more than 50 miles perfectly realistic in the real world, and performs very strongly when the motor and engine are working together.
