The Mercedes CLE is a compelling choice as a comfortable, long-distance cruiser offered with a wide range of engines. The 300 is the one to go for, while the 300e plug-in hybrid is a unique coupe company car option if you don’t need outright practicality. The AMG CLE 53 offers great performance and usability but costs more than a similarly fast BMW M440i.

Entry-level AMG Line trim includes 18in alloy wheels, keyless entry and go, ambient lighting, leather upholstery, wood trim and plenty more. Note that, despite its name, it's not available with the most powerful model, the AMG 53.
