Trim: Cooper Classic
This is the cheapest way into Mini ownership but still brings a fair amount of kit. There are LED front and rear lights, auto lights and wipers, a 6.5in infotainment controlled by a rotary dial, Bluetooth, a DAB radio and a multi-function steering wheel. Despite being a fair bit quicker than the petrol Cooper, it has the lowest emissions and best fuel economy of the range. There is a significant price premium over the petrols, so you’ll need to do plenty of miles to recoup your initial investment.
