Used test: Audi Q4 e-tron vs Mercedes EQA verdict

You might be tempted by either of these electric SUVs, with their premium badges and attractive used prices, but which is the better buy?...

Used test: Audi Q4 e-tron vs Mercedes EQA

Our verdict

The EQA has its strengths. It’s the cheaper car, for starters, and you'll get a bit more standard-from-new equipment. It’s also suitably upmarket inside and offers a fine (though nowhere near remarkable) range between charges. If you like the sound of all that and don’t need a big boot, go for it.

The Q4 e-tron is the better electric SUV, though. It’s nicer to drive, quieter on the move and far more practical, especially when it comes to boot space. To top it all off, it has a usefully longer range and can charge up faster. We think it's easily worth the extra outlay.
