The Volvo XC60 can still fend off newer rivals with its roomy, upmarket interior and well-judged ride. It's a fine choice, although the Audi Q5 and BMW X3 are better to drive. If you do choose an XC60, we recommend Core trim with the B5 engine (or, if you're a company car user, the T6 PHEV).
