Hyundai i30 estate

Hyundai has revealed an estate version of its forthcoming i30 small family car.

The i30 Estate is longer, taller and has a longer wheelbase than the five-door hatch on which it is based. It will be powered by either a 1.6 petrol or 1.6 diesel engine.

While the hatch will be in UK showrooms this summer, we'll get to see the estate version for the first time in the metal at the Frankfurt motor show in September. The car is due on sale here early next year.

The i30 is built on the same platform as the Kia 'd. We'll have more news about the estate version of the Cee'd, the Cee'd Wagon, later on this month, ahead of its launch this summer.
