Hidden extras - When buying a new or used car, be careful to check all of the small print for any hidden extras. These can range from delivery costs to penalties for deciding not to buy the car after signing a contract.

When buying from an importer or internet broker, make sure the price quoted includes all charges to have the car delivered to your door.
