Orange peel - A term used to describe a poor paint finish, where the paint surface is covered in tiny dimples like the skin of an orange. It's rarely seen on new cars nowadays, but orange-peel finish on a used car could indicate that a cheap repair has been done. Ask for an explanation before you go any further with the deal.
