S - Secured Car Parks

Secured Car Parks - A scheme which lists the safest and most secure car parks in the UK. It is run by the British Parking Association and the Association of Chief Police Officers, and requires car parks to fulfil certain criteria to be accepted by the scheme.
Sites must provide proper lighting and an open-plan layout, patrols and closed-circuit camera coverage. Car parks must be inspected every year to remain on the scheme. To find your nearest secured car park, log on to www.securedcarparks.com.
