Ford is celebrating 100 years in Britain by delving into its archive of photographs.
This picture illustrates Ford’ innovative ideas about car design, with the creations of the late 1950s taking the automotive industry away from the post-war gloom.
The photo reveals a ‘refreshing’ take on presenting cars to company bosses, as the Mk II Zephyr, Consul and Zodiac are presented by the design and engineering teams outside of the boardroom.
The three cars marked a notable shift in the design of cars, which Ford hopes it is matching nowadays with another design renaissance.
