What hybrid Car? - Honda CR-Z
Honda's hybrid system works well in the CR-Z. It is fun to drive and the 1.5-litre petrol engine and electric motor combine to produce 135bhp, which is plenty in the lightweight CR-Z.
Most hybrids use an automatic gearbox, however, the CR-Z uses a manual.
Average economy is 56.5mpg and emissions are 116g/km of CO2, neither of which is particularly good.
Inside, the CR-Z has a futuristic dashboard that displays all the information clearly and puts everything within easy reach of the driver. The driving position is good, but the rear visibility is awful thanks to the spoiler that goes across the rear window.
Honda specs the CR-Z generously. All cars get climate control, electric windows, parking sensors, cruise control and a multi-function steering wheel.
Prices start at £20,750.
