Latest Euro NCAP crash test - Fiat Croma

27 October 2005
Overall 5/5 stars
Front impact 92%
Side impact 97%
Child protection 80% 4/5 stars
Pedestrian 17% 1/4 stars

All occupants are very well protected in the Fiat.

Front-seat passengers are cushioned well in both front and side impact tests. There was no risk of injuries from stiff structures identified, while the footwell and passenger compartment remained intact.

The 18-month- and three-year-old test dummies were seated in forward-facing Britax Duo Plus seats. All-round protection was good, with chest and neck loads well contained.

The Croma recorded one of the worst pedestrian results to date and was awarded just one out of a possible four stars as a result. There was little cushioning anywhere over the Croma's bonnet and bumper.
