This is the Maserati Grancabrio MC, which has made its debut at the 2012 Paris motor show.
The hot soft-top is 48mm longer than other Grancabrios and is based on the range-topping Granturismo MC Stradale coupe.
The car is powered by the same 453bhp 4.7-litre V8 engine that's in the MC Stradale Coupe. That means the Grancabrio MC can reach 0-62mph in 4.9s and a top speed of 179mph.
It has a six-speed automatic gearbox which features five modes - Auto-Normal, Auto-Sport, Manual-Normal, Manual-Sport and Ice. The Sport modes, both permit gear changes that are 50% faster than the normal setting.
The car has a deep spoiler and large air intakes and features new headlights. At the rear, there's a bootlid spoiler and a new bumper with integral splitter. It also gets side sill extensions and bespoke alloy wheels.
The Grancabrio MC comes with 20-inch lightweight alloy wheels.
The cabin has new seats, redesigned headrests and rear-seat passengers now have 20mm more legroom.
Prices have yet to be revealed but we'd expect the Maserati Grancabrio MC to cost in excess of £120,000.
