Week ending May 12
Mileage 8990
Driven this week 45 miles

I am pleased to report that finally, the 500L is fully functioning and looking good again.

After the mysterious blue effect that appeared on the repaired alloy wheel last week, the Fiat stayed in the garage and the wheel was refurbished again. This time, the wheel has been restored to its former unkerbed glory, and all is well.

No sooner had that been done, the 500L was whisked to the very efficient Fiat Parkside in West London again to get its faulty driver’s door mechanism repaired.

An hour later, and I had a working door – no more clambering over the passenger seat for me, hurrah!

Sadly, the Fiat is nearing the end of its time with us on the What Car? long-term test fleet, so we’ve only got another couple of weeks with it until it leaves.
