Mercedes-Benz B-Class review - What is it?

04 October 2011
This is the second incarnation of the Mercedes-Benz B-Class, which the company calls a 'compact sports tourer'.

You'd be forgiven if you don't know what that means – neither do we. For us, the B-Class is a rival to the vast legion of small family hatchbacks on the market, albeit a roomier and more luxurious option.

We say that because the B-Class is similar in length and width to the Ford Focus.

However, with a longer wheelbase and a taller roof than most of its rivals, the B-Class is designed to give its occupants more space to enjoy the ride.
