The new Seat Ibiza has been revealed, ahead of an on-sale date in the spring.
New lights and bumpers give the Ibiza a fresh look. A flatter front grille and re-shaped air intakes create a more angular appearance, similar to the look of the Alhambra MPV.
Inside, new finishes and colours are designed to give the cabin a classier ambience. There are also new air-conditioning controls, a new instrument display and a larger glovebox.
Seat’s Portable Media System with touch-screen monitor is a new option, which will be available later in 2012. It’s a removable device that combines sat-nav, trip computer and audio functions.
The engine range is carried over and includes a 1.2 TDI diesel model with CO2 emissions of 92g/km.
Full pricing and equipment details are yet to be announced, but we wouldn’t expect much change compared with the current car.
Our reviews are based on hard data and thorough testing in the real world.
