Toyota confirms vehicles for UK recall

Toyota has identified the vehicles in the UK that are to be recalled to rectify an accelerator safety problem.

The 180,865 vehicles affected will be fixed at Toyota-approved centres across the country.

Toyota is working with the Driver and Vehicle Licensing Agency (DVLA) to identify the owners and registered keepers of vehicles involved. Once their details are confirmed, the manufacturer will contact them with more information.

Seven model ranges are affected:
Auris
Avensis
Aygo
• Corolla
iQ
Verso
Yaris

Repairs are planned to start from February 10, and will take about 30 minutes to complete.
