    My car

Excellent car to drive and very comfortable on long journeys and lots of room front and back.

Main issue with mine is throttle housings - my car had three in 73,000 miles at several hundred pounds a time

Good car for the money, but reliability a problem

    My car

Based on the heavy traditional steel chassis of htew A6 the S6 is a higher powered go faster exec saloon.

Its a solid, spacious car but lacks the edge of the BMW M5 or its sibling the RS6. It's great for the family has great cabin space and features but lacks the wow factor of some of its peers.

Once you have mastered the vague steering it is possible to travel long distances at high speeds without too much drama and the occasional smile.

Having driven the RS6 at the Audi Drving Experience along with the newer S4 I am looking forward to the next S6 - albeit with some reservations about the new style grille.

The S6 is a good second-hand purchase but it does have a vast array of technology

If driven hard it will wear tyres and brakes quickly mainly due to its sheer mass.
