    My car

When I was in my 20s, I always wanted a 325 Coupe. I got the 330 Coupe Sport and it's everything I dreamed it would be. I can't believe it does over 30mpg!

    My car

I have owned my 2001 330Ci Sport since October and it never fails to thrill me. Having been fitted with most of the optional extras, except sat-nav, it has a good spec.

But the sheer brilliance is in the driving of the car. You can potter around in auto mode while taking your elderly mum to the post office, but then once youve dropped her off you can select manual or sport mode and the straight six, 231bhp engine growls into life.

With handling to match the masses of torque thrown down, it's a tough car to beat on the twisties, although keeping up with the Sccobies and Evos with their four-wheel drive is tricky.

Even now, at four years old, my car looks great and never fails to attract admiring comments. The next step for me is the M3 next year. Until then, I am happy to marvel in the technology and engineering BMW have perfected in this car.

It eats rear tyres and drinks fuel but that's what I expected!

    My car

The only reason why I rate this car as very good is because it is. I went from a 320Ci Convertible, to the Clubsport. You can image the speed difference. I got lucky when I bought this beacuse it came with the optional SSG gearbox.

I am thinking off selling it soon - looking to go one step higher to an M3.

    My car

Covering 24,000+ miles per year, the only real option is to drive a diesel. I previously owned a Mercedes but the dealership treated me like I should be previliged to use them. So I opted from BMW and a 320 Sport Touring since I needed more space than the saloon offered. It was an excellent car but fairly boring. So after 18 months I changed to a 320Cd sport.

This car is brilliant. It sits nicely on the motorway, although the tramline effect of the 18-inch alloys is worrying. You soon get used to the car going where it wants. The drive on narrower roads is unbelievably good. You always feel that the car could cope with more pace than you are giving it. Just a benefit of the sports suspension. Although it sometimes appears a little firm with the ride on rougher roads.

There is a slight turbo lag but generally the power is smooth and refined for a 2.0-litre 150bhp unit.

The fuel consumption does not match BMW's spec, but that may be my driving style. This is a superb car - although I may go for a 330Cd next time or even the convertible.
