    My car

The car as a whole is fine, apart from a constant rattling noise while driving due to a fault in the steering rack.

    My car

C2 has smooth power through all gears, although it can be a little notchy especially going into third, yet this is hardly noticable at most times.

The digital speedo is a nice touch, as is the horizontal rev counter running along the top of the display panel. The driving position is comfortable yet on the design the seat is not height-adjustable.

On the other hand, legroom in the back is terrible, a toddler would have trouble fitting in the back let alone an adult. Even getting in the back is a mission of its own requiring you to put the front seat down and then forward!

However, this is the only flaw I have found with this car. Its fuel economy is excellent as is its handling round corners and busy city streets. Remember to ring around different dealers to get the price down, play 'em at their own game.

Eye catching looks and many little touches make this a good choice over its competitors such as the clio or 206. Go and get one!

    My car

This is my first ever car and I have been learning to drive in it. A qualified instructor accompanies me and I also practice driving my family on short journeys around Milton Keynes.

At first I found that sometimes I would accidentally take it out of automatic by catching the left-hand paddle when signalling. The auto button would be easier to use if it was on the steering column.

Now I sometimes use the right-hand paddle to change up and let the car go down through the gears itself at the next roundabout. We have a lot of roundabouts in Milton Keynes! The automatic features such as the rain sensors, air-con, rear wash-wipe, self-cancelling demisters mean there is a lot less to distract me from looking at the road. It hasn't had any mechanical problems so far and seems quite economical to run and fun to drive.

My husband drives a manual Mercedes but he enjoys driving the C2 using the paddles. My son is six foot six tall and he fits behind the wheel quite comfortably so it is very good for tall drivers even though it is a small car. It is a good little car for the price.

    My car

I am completely appalled with this car! I have had it not even a year and have taken it back eight times already!

I have so far had problems with (and this may take some time) the brakes (ongoing), the bumper, the front and rear windscreen wash, the passenger's electric window wasn't working, and the key lock (remote control) doesn't work when it is really cold.

Basically I have had nothing but unhelpful people from the garage and Citreon UK itself (what a waste of time they are). The garage owner had me in tears at one point as he wasn't going to fix my car because "it wasn't his problem!" and he "doesn't have to do anything he doesn't want to do!". And after they hadn't correctly booked a courtesy car, I was told to "walk home" (only 12 miles so it wasn't far!!).

I wish that I never bought this car and do not feel one bit safe in it! The sooner I get rid of it the better.

I am so disappointed and will never buy a Citroen again. The customer service and the car has been a complete waste of time and effort and I have frequently told them to just put it in the crusher.

The arguments I have had to get the car in for it to be looked at, let alone to actually be worked on by a machanic, have been a task in themselves! Please could you give me some advice as to how I can give them the keys back and walk away from the finance deal as I think that I am nearly at breaking point!

    Please help!
