    My car

The stylish C2 has the right modern, streetwise city-hatch image offering a design that will make it a popular choice for all ages for years to come.

Inside the cabin area utilises a modern look and feel of good quality. The interior for the driver and passengers alike continues a quality sporting style.

The instrumentation and controls are well placed with a fuel display showing the estimated miles you can drive before running out. Unfortunatley the dashboard as a whole seems intrusive and over-sized, cutting the overall cabin space which I noticed caused some compromise to the rear passanger legroom for my four year old twins who accompanied me.

The unique gearbox offered three ways of changing gear as standard: (1) A button near the gearstick to enable a fully automatic five-gear delivery. (2) A joystick style manual / semi-automatic gear shift using a flick forward or flick back action to select your gear. (3) Steering wheel paddle controls like those on Formula one cars.

The automatic five-gear delivery had a noticable lag as the car accelerated up the gears but the 1.6i VTR engine provided acceptable performance, indeed making the test drive of this little hot hatch a real pleasure.

The deal on offer at our local dealership seemed fair, offering three years' warranty from new.

This C2 was stylish and a good-quality design for such a small car offering a unique choice of driving techniques.
