    My car

I purchased a new Picasso in August 2006 and it has been in the garage five times with an engine fault. I am now in dispute with the garage as it has again come up with an engine fault for the sixth time. I would never recommend this car to anyone.

    My car

I have owned the car for over a year now, and it has failed to disappoint as of yet.

Yes it doesn't hug the corners, and can feel a little sluggish when pulling off, but it isn't designed for these things.

The driving position is superb. The biggest gripe I have with the whole car is the reflection of the dashboard onto the windscreen in sunny weather. It is also sometimes tricky to see the centrally mounted dash display meaning you have to estimate your speed when the sun is at the wrong angle.

The enigne overall is good - grumbles at low revs but will easily maintain motorway speeds and return good MPG whilst doing it. We also use ours to tow a 4 berth caravan which it does with not too many problems.

The cabin is well layed out and offers enough space to comfortably take 4 adults and a child. The rear passangers do complain of numb bums on the longer journeys though. There are lots of storage bins which allow the car to not look to much like a kids toy room when we go on holiday.

The boot is huge, you can just keep putting more and more into it. If you ever need more space, the various positions the rear seats can go in along with the ease of removal gives ample space for most domestic use.

Would I buy the car again? Probably due to it's price and the interior sapce. The next time though I would definatley get the SX to ensure I have air conditioning. The car gets so hot in the summer, it has the nickname of the greenhouse in our family!

    My car

My parents have owned their Y-Reg 1.8 SX for just over a year now.

To be a passenger in this car is a dream, the seats are luxorious, so comfortable and solid with 3 proper Rear Seats for 3 real people (as long as the middle man isn't too large!), with A/C that could keep you chilly in the Equator area!!

If you're the driver, then things start to go wrong - the clutch is awful with the footwell blocking a decent foot position; the clutch is either engaged or disengaged with no apparant middle ground, the mirrors are too small and the engine seems to struggle; it also likes eating the Fuel as quick as possible.

For me, the clutch being so bad Really Really lets this brilliant car down - for Passengers however, the definite Taxi Ride!

    My car

This is an excellent family car and workhorse. I recommend it to anyone, and I reckon it won't be beaten on fuel economy around town.
