The Panda is a fantastic car - especially considering the price tag! I bought this for £5000 - which proves that if you shop around, you can get a good deal. It is the best car I have ever had - its nippy, well-built, cheap to run (and insure) and looks good inside and out. The interior layout is good - especially the seating position and the dashboard. Standard equipment is good for an entry level model, - Aircon is lacking, but you can upgrade to the Dynamic Aircon.
The drive is superb, great steering, easy gearshift and superb position. Fuel economy is good, and although rivals such as the Toyota Aygo achieve more, they don't compare to the Panda for space, ride and handling.
I`ve had this car a week now & quite pleased with overall. I have picked up on a bit of a fault, which having taken it back to the dealership seems to be a problem with all Panda`s. If you look at the car from the back, it leans slightly to the drivers side. I would love to know how many owners of this car has the same fault!
This car does everything well. But when you take the price into account, it puts it into a different league. Roadholding and performance are so-so, but by no means bad. But if you are in a queue of traffic in the rush hour, why pay for more? It's strangely roomy for such a small car, and built quality is good. Nothing has gone wrong in 6 months. The engine is a gem - once moving, you don't know it's a diesel except at the filling station - I'm getting 450/500miles to the tank. It'll eat miles at 80 on the M-way, but the mpg suffers at speed. There are many better cars out there, but none at the price.
What a great small car, good prices to be had if you shop around, cheap to run , and tax and insure, 65mpg average, keeps up with the traffic on all roads and Mways, air con is a extra but well worth it,road and engine noise in cabin very good, lots of room front and back for a small car and a fair size boot, good driving position which is very comftable, five doors for easy acess, what else could you expect of a small car,Recommended.
