I have owned my car since Nov 05 and its now just hit 3 years old. It does have its down sides, however it's fun to drive, looks so sexy with the top down and is cheap to insure.
The down sides are it's quiet heavy on the juice for a small car, has a huge turning circle for a baby and admittedly has a few rattles.
Evan though i bought second hand, the Ford garage in Worksop, Notts has been great sorting out problems under warranty.
But i love it and would not dream of swapping it, particularly as i've got the summer to look forward to.
Nicky, Notts
Car was purchased a year ago in 05 and has been back to the ford service garage on more than several occasions due to an on going engine fault which ford cannot trace even though I have had near accidents when the engine has decided to cut out. Not good when you are on a round-a-bout!, but I am still assured that there's nothing wrong?!
Also, the interior rattles making a clunking noise when going over any bumps, so no I wouldn't recommend this car to anyone as you may have gathered im looking for a new car.
I have only owned this car for three weeks so may come back and do a new review after a few months.
At the moment I am still in love with it. I have the Winter edition with the hard top. The weather has not allowed me to try it soft or open yet. I had a Ka Collection before.
The drive is better. It is nippier and handles the road better. The noise is not a problem and the hard top works well. I have the luxury build.
I have three minor moans: it is thirsty - but I wanted a bigger engine so must accept that; the body work does seem to be susceptible to scratches; I hate the humped lid to the glove box. I want a flat one again!
I have owned my Ka since July 2004. I find it very thirsty for petrol, and I am very disappointed.
I find the vinyl rear window very annoying in the ice and snow, and impossible to de-ice or scrape. However, I have found a good trade-in value against the Peugeot 206 GTi 180, which I will be collecting next week.
I would suggest anyone else who owns a Streetka to do the same.

Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
