    My car

Bought this car in 2009 with 30,000 miles on clock. Now have 83,000 miles of excellent driving on it. In that time have had a few bulbs and only fault was the bonnet release going (fitted new one myself for £30, but fiddly but OK). I bought the aftermarket clips for the hatchback which stop or limit the water coming on when opening the rear in rain, these work quite well. Car is extremely good at eating miles and smooth with huge space, my daughter calls it the Alan Sugar car for the exec feel and space inside! Averages about 47mpg on 65% motorway driving and general running around. Has passed all MOTS without any faults. Replaced all brakes once in this time. Tyres quite expensive.

Would recommend this car to anyone wanting combination of size, economy and smooth long distance vehicle.

    My car

This is a fantastic car to drive. I bought a 12 plate, 2nd hand with 10000miles on the clock. I was going to buy the Vauxhall insignia as I felt this was a better looking car but in the end I decided to go for the Mondeo because of the £30/year road tax. As a 6ft 4 person this car is the most comfortable I've driven, although getting in and out are a bit tedious as the car is low. The bluetooth control/ voice controls are impressive. My main reason for buying this car was all about fuel efficiency..... where the car is so great to drive I am happy to cruise at speeds 57-65miles/hr on motorways and using the Shell Nitro diesel I have achieved 780 miles on a tank of diesel which cost about 90£ to fill. The trip computer shows MPG anything btw 30mpg (when winds are strong or going uphill) and 80mpg (official is about 67.5mpg), whilst Overall great and comfortable car

    My car

Having now covered 75,000 miles over the last 2 1/2 years I can say this is the best car I have owned. Averaging 50mpg and that is self recorded not following the inaccurate on board CPU. Sometimes I've a heavy foot and this barge feels like a speed boat with all the driving fun, other times I cruise, and it is a joy to relax in. Great size, tows anything easily, esp and traction control make it beat some 4x4s for sticking to the road in snow or getting out of a muddy field (obviously driving technique help) Boot size is cavernous, with rear seats down it is warehouse size. 3 kids on long journey have plenty of space, and the rear power point a great help with all their gadgets. Slight issues with cabin noise, but with music or radio on it is masked easily. Water ingress into boot is just annoying, simple design mistake. Slight electrics issue with cruise control, it is a known issue, but I'm not paying stupid prices to get it permanently fixed. Overall, I'll drive her till she dies, then seriously consider getting another.

    My car

I bought this car second hand from a local dealer I've used before. The car had one owner and a full main dealer service history. Frankly I am delighted! Spacious, quality interior, coupled to a smooth ride. Better still it drives beautifully, similar to a 5 series in feel. In town it is a large car and as such isn't much fun in a multi-storey car park. Thankfully it great fun on a roads and motorway miles are wafted away effortlessly. The only thing I can criticise is that my mpg isn't wonderful but it is similar to other large 2.0 litre large petrol cars apporx 32 mpg. I would wholeheartedly recommend one of these to anyone, especially as used prices are so much cheaper than equivalent cars, such as Insignias, Passats and so on. And I should know - my last car was a Passat and this is much better. Look beyond the badge and you'll reward yourself with a cracking car. Enjoy.
