    My car

I have a Mondeo Ghia 2.0 TDCI Hatchback I am happy with car apart from when it has been raining and you open the boot the water runs off the back window straight in to the boot leaving it constanly wet.The only other niggle I had was the engine kept cutting out whilst changing down to second gear this however has now been sorted which just leaves the annoying water problem.

    My car

i have owned this car 6 months covering 10000 miles, i find it fantastic to drive and very powerful.the cabin has some great gadgets if they all work which they dont always. the voice activation doesnt seem to understand english no matter how clearly or loudly you speak. the auto headlights malfunction despite being back to ford twice. the rear window was faulty, although ford managed to fix this. i hate the fact that if you open the drivers window an inch when its raining rain pours in like a waterfall all over the electric window controls, and when you open the boot in the same conditions whatever you had in there is soon swimming in water.the tyres are down to the wear limiters already and im not a wheel spinner i think this is premature considering the replacment cost of the same tyre is around £180 each.the windscreen wipers are not allowed to be pulled away from the screen because if you do, you take the paint off the bonnet, although maybe this is a fault isolated to my own car. all this said, i still love mondeo it has good fuel economy and its very pokey. and the handling is pretty good.

    My car

I have owned my Mondeo 2.0 TDCI Ghia Auto from new - Sept 2008 - and covered 20,000 miles to date so feel I am in a position to give a reasonable "long term view" of this model. An excellent vehicle all round, comfortable, great drive, loads of room for passengers and luggage and extremely well built, it would appear. The only negatives I have about this car are the thick windscreen pillars and the rather limited life of the front tyres - 14,000 miles - as compared to 20,000 miles on my previous model Mondeo. Excellent engine mated to ultra smooth 6 speed auto gearbox has given me an average of 43.5 mpg over 15 months.
