    My car

I can't imagine what the reviewer on 21 Feb was on when he wrote that, and find it almost impossible to believe that he has actually driven an XF. I had the pleasure of doing so a couple of days ago, and my word its a terrific car.

Looks are an individual thing, of course, but I think it looks gorgeous, and the standard equipment level is very high, although I'm amazed that Bi-xenon lights are extra. The cabin is a total delight, the engine willing, powerful and flexible, the drive options - normal/sport/paddles etc - give the driver everything one could hope for. The driving experience is altogether very impressive indeed, grippy and tight sweeping through the bends.

If I only give it four stars its because I've been driving a Saab 9-5 Aero for the last couple of years and missed that savage acceleration when you drop a gear or two. Having said that, am I going to order an XF? You bet!

    My car

I drove this car on Sunday, its awesome, simply put.. I am amazed at the comment from the previous chap where he states "he knows about cars" obviously he does not as the residuals expected on this car outclass the Audi A5, and BMW 5 too. Ordered one too due in April, cannot wait! The interior is of a high standard and feels solid and soft in the right places, corners flat and sticky and the 2.7 v6 D is a good engine, pulls right through and doesnt lack power.. as to looking like a mondeo?! no more than a boxster looks like an MR2, or 300c looking like a Bentley etc etc, this car is different and is a milestone for Jaguar! wait till the new XF R comes out
