    My car

I own the discovery TDI, 97. paid £9000, In total I have spent over £3000 on repairs. Love the look and love driving it. Since day of owing it, about 4 years, I have nothing but problems with it. mainly minor. I have had a constant oil leak, had this sorted many a time, each lasting a couple of months only for problem to return. After going shopping today noticed spray up back of car, only to find I've got an oil leak "AGAIN". The door handle is stuck so unable to open back door, only one sun roof works. all other interior is ok, some slight rust. The way I feel at the moment I wouldn't go near one ever again. When fixed I love it. Open to any offers.HAHAHA Thinking of buying a mondeo

    My car

This was one car that I really wanted to own but unfortunately the whole experience was marred by frequent break downs necesitating expensive repairs (thankfully i had a land rover warranty), and a totally inept land rover dealer whose couldn't care less attitude and awful awful workmanship kept the vehicle off the road for much longer than it should have.

On the plus side, the car is spacious and the tall seating position is very reassuring and, apart from the fact that the car is so tediously unreliable that it brings tears to one's eyes, and bits of the car keep falling off, I feel safe driving my children in it. Would I ever even contemplate buying a Land Rover again - never!

    My car

My disco is a delight to drive, excelent visibilty, enough room to have a party in. It has all the add ons you could want and the rear seats are excelent and far enough away that I cant hear the kids and the rear stereo controls let them listen to their own music while I can enjoy my own. Engine noise? its a diesel what do you expect. I have a sports gear box so if I need to I can get away quickly.

I owned a V8 Range Rover before and the economy was painfull, the diesel in my disco is much better, but its a 4x4 so what do you expect, if you want economy buy an escort and join the masses.

Dealer servicing is excellent and I will buy another one.

    My car

I love my disco, the off road drive is fine, on the motorway its like a roller just purring along, But sadly thats where it stops. 35000 miles 1 new gearbox, steering arm, ball joint, and still needs to go back to have yet another gearbox after 1 day!!!!. So land rover need to get it right again i hope, oh also my drivers seat has started to fall apart on the back upright by the seat belt, Land rover tell me its wear and tear so they wont fix it under warranty! has any one else had any problems with theirs?
