This is the second Mercedes I have owned and will definetely be the last. All this money and it can't change gear properly. I am told it is the adaptive gearbox. The customer service is virtually non existent and when it comes to resale, the value is disappointing.
The only reason I can think people would prefer to keep buying Mercedes is for snob value.
A superb car in every way.
The handling, comfort, performance and prestige are of the highest value. The soft top operation is a delight and genuine open-topped motoring is complemented by coupe levels of noise when the soft-top is up.
The CLK is simply a delight to sit in and drive.
Nice to drive, looks good, however, lots of little niggly things are not right.
However, I have bonded with the car and spent a little of the summer with the top down. Yes, it does get blustery in the back so is a bit unconfortable for back seat passengers.
Order a brochure, find your nearest dealer or book a test drive
Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
