The ZR may be based on a 10-year-old car but in terms of handling and fun who cares? Every time I go out for a drive it puts a smile on my face. I bought mine new and have done 3k miles already, had no problems. I would recommend this care to anyone who wants a fun drive for not a lot of money
The best bit of this model is the engine and suspension.
The interior trim hasn't really improved since the Rover 200 range. Plastics are better but the fit is as poor.

The steering is excellent and acurate and you always now what the car is doing. That said, speed bumps are a really uncomfortable experience. You really do get a go-kart like feeling with the 160bhp model.

I would buy a Mk5 Golf.
The car had no power compared to what it looked like - a true sheep in wolf's clothing.
