I've had this car for two weeks and it's done nothing but rain, so I know the roof is OK. It's a great quick car and comfortable to drive. So far, I am very pleased, and also think it is a great looking car.
I own a 03 plate car which had 6000 miles on it when I bought it last year.
It has been in the garage twice with exhaust problems and the roof leaking - a nightmare! The exhaust was seemingly fixed and it is blowing again.
I've been told the 2.0-litre does this, but somehow I don't buy this - does anyone else have a noisy exhaust on their 2.0 litre 206?
It's a great car when there are two people, but it's cramped otherwise. I'm not that happy with the quality of drive either - I had a Beetle convertible before, and it was a far better car.
I have had an automatic version of the 1.6 Allure for just around three weeks and I am very pleased with it.
It is good to drive, but I'm not so happy about the heavy steering and driving position - otherwise a very fine car to have.
The auto box is very smooth, but it would have been better with a five-speed auto.
I bought my new 05-reg car in March last year, and I'm very happy with car over the last eight months - I have had no problems with the roof.
Recently, however, I have had a problem with the clutch and have needed to have it replaced on warranty. It is going back to the dealer again, because I am still not sure it is right.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Amazing car, once driven, never forgotton, forget all the pretenders like BMW Z4 and Mercedes SLK, they will never have the passion of a Porsche
I love this car! Handling is great, its fun to drive and even reasonably practical!
