BUY NOW - if you want it towed back to the dealership after 4,000 miles (shredded drive belt): prefer wipers to judder (despite 5 replacements): like brakes to apply themselves for no reason: love an overpowering smell of burning rubber (cause never established): never drive uphill (gearbox not up to the slightest incline. Bought mine new - kept it 6 months, that was 5 months, 3 weeks and 6 days too long.
I bought this car new a month ago as a 2006 model.
The performance is great giving it's weight to power ratio and the engine sound is very pleasant.
It's ESP rarely come into action because of the car's great handling capabilities.
On the down side, it's ride is a little bit harsh, but overall, it's quite comfortable.
The cabin quality, at first look, seems good, but once you look more thoroughly, you find quite a few irritating finishing details.
But I don't mind these few below the standard details because it's very fun to drive and it's not expensive.
I bought a 206 hdi sport from a poor excuse of a main dealer in Maidenhead on the lion approved used scheme, where do i start? this car had only 20k miles on the clock and once the nice gentleman had my money the service i received was appalling..
When i picked the car up it had stone chips on the bonnet that i had to treat myself when the salesman handed ME a touch up stick, there were badges missing, interior light missing, the reversing lights were not working, the engine cover was just sitting loose on the engine and we nearly drove off without WINDSCREEN WIPERS!!
I only had this car a week and on the first rainfall both rear side windows were leaking! i was driving along one day and the power steering decided to fail!! a dangerous event when going round a bend! The alternator has just failed and to top it all off i have to pay £85 everytime i have it looked at, as it is not covered in the laughable "platinum warranty" in fact not very much is covered by this useless piece of paper!i have had this dustbin 8 weeks and it has been back to the dealers at least once a week, and to top it all off the car has the build quality that would make a Lada feel German!
I have now thankfully swapped for an older Fiesta with more miles on the clock just to get shot of this four wheeled anti-Christ!
DO NOT BUY ONE OF THESE UNLESS YOUR RICH AND WANT TO BE INVITED TO THE DEALERS CHRISTMAS PARTY!!!
This is a very attractive car but is very slow , uphill drive is a nightmare overall quality of drive poor . The seats are uncomfortable , indicator stalk clicks left after clicking right , exhaust dropped off , problems with engine and lights . this car had been a nightmare the only good points are its cheep on petrol and it looks nice and a bit sporty and interior is nice !

I have owned this car for almost 2 years, bought from a used dealer with 60k on and later found it was a ex rental car.... the insurance was cheap…
Ive had this car for one year now and so far has exeeded my expectations. The car is great at overtaking lorries on the motorway and handles very…
