    My car

I bought thsi car back in March 2005. I paid slightly more at £5000 new. Have nowe had the car for nearly 4 years, and touch wood, no problems at all apart from a dodgy Air con unit (£85 to replace as no warrenty) The car is good fun to drive and as it's so high it feels like you're going to tip over whilst cornering with any speed - I think it's fun anyway. Downside is the depreciation value as the car is worth very little to anyone who's done any research. I was recently offered £900 as part-exchange on a Grande-Punto. So have decided to run the thing into the ground. I reckon I should get another 3 years out of it, which works out at about £700 a year it has cost me. I have heard that there are problems with getting parts, but out of curiosity I looked on ebay and every possible part was available. No regrets at all, apart from wanting to sell but not prepared to sell a good car with 30 thou for £1000

    My car

I bought this car for my wife. We never intended to buy a CityRover, but when we paid a visit to The Car People site they were selling them for £4750 brand new, which was less than we were going to pay for a second hand Vauxhall Corsa.

So we decided to take a test run. First impressions were that it was quite nippy, once you get used to the high pedal position. I know the interior is a bit on the cheap side, but who cares for the price I paid?

We have had the car for 14 months now and the only thing to go wrong is the tailgate, whihc does not open with the key, but you can open it with the lever by the driver's seat. The only downside is the fuel economy, which is very poor - we get just over 33mpg.

    My car

As I had never owned a Rover, I took a look at your website to see how you rated it and was surprised to find that you absolutely trashed it.

I nearly didn't go for a test drive at all. However, I'm glad I did because I loved it, and I bought it and three weeks later I am still delighted with it. I think you gave it a very poor rating all considered.

    My car

Seats are not comfortable. The quality of build is poor. Very nippy car performs very well.

I've had many problems one being the rear-view mirror that vibrates very badly. At night I struggle to determine what is actually behind me. The dealer said it is a design fault and cannot be rectified. The same goes for the steering wheel scraping. The dealer has been patronising to me and tried to fob me off. I would not recommend this car at all.
