I've owned this car for over a month now, and absoloutley love it!
First of all, you get all the quality, performance, and customer care of Mercedes Benz, but in a smaller, cheaper, funky little car which gives you everything you could possibly want... and then some.
The sound quality of the stereo system is better than my MP3 player, the seats are comfortable, the driving experience wonderful - you really feel in contact with the road without experiencing every lump and bump you go over.
The fuel consumption is great (I bought a new tank yesterday... the last tank I got was a few weeks back, and I did about 350 miles from it mostly town-driving), so it's cheap to run.
Then there's the fact that you own a really fun, unusual car, so you really are a part of an exclusive club, with plent of smiles and waves from other Smart owners.
This car truly lives up to its name. It is a Smart car, and I am so, so pleased with it!
I have owned this car for 15 months, owning it from its release date back in Autumn 2004. I LOVE this car and have enjoyed over 40,000 miles of ForFour to date!
There are loads of things to love about your ForFour: the unique funky styling which still turns heads after over a year; the exclusivity that other super-mini drivers could only dream of... (gosh, those Minis are just so common these days; almost a cliche!); and the funky interior with its panaramic roof and upholstered dash which oozes quality and has a funky style - it's just a lovely place to be!
The fuel economy is great and the car is fast enough for me (I am no boy racer and drive safely and legally, so why would I need it to go that fast?).
The ForFour is the best car I've ever owned (even if the lack of a parcelshelf can be a tad annoying at times when you have a boot full of shopping but you want to visit the cinema). Security issues do flare up, and the ridiculously bad service that Mercedes Benz has offered me still don't overshadow the fact that this is a fun car with bags of character.
I have owned this car for 4 weeks now and wow, what a cracking car it is. My partner & I often end up fighting over who gets the keys (i have barely let him drive it!) It is so much fun to drive and is very quick considering the engine size. It is much nicer looking and better built than my old car, a Renault Clio.
I was lucky enough to be one of the first to purchase the Passion four months ago now. More expensive than the Pulse and later in arriving, it was a wise choice to wait.
There have been a couple of very minor electrical faults, internal lights not going out and central locking triggering when you drive - of its own accord.
Other than those very minor points, there is nothing but praise.
Its handling is excellent - cornering is not too stiff, but very nimble - minimal yaw and lots of response even from a little 1.1.
Perhaps coming from a background of owning a little Corsa, I am now being spoilt, but against all rivals this little motor seems to punch way above its weight.
