Looks decent, big improvement from a company on the up. 1.3 and 1.5 engines dont feel any different for power (havnt had the pleasure of driving the 1.6 lunatic). Interior still feels a little chatty and rattley. 1.3's lack of spec slightly lets it down but in todays times, its a cheap new car (and its Japenese so it should last!)
I bought my 57 reg GL 6 weeks ago as an ex-demo with approx 3k miles on the clock. I have been really impressed in every way, particularly with fuel economy, which is very good. It nips along both around town and on the motorway. Really happy so far!
Bought this car (GLX 1.5 Auto) 4 weeks ago based on the reviews by Whatcar/Autotrader. I was not disappointed. Amazing car for the price. Looks good, handles great in the city and the motorway. Very comfortable and great view. Very, very nippy. Love it! I would recommend this as the best supermini by far. Tried the Vauxhall Corsa and Nissan Micra. They're no match as far as I'm concerned.
I have owned my Swift since July 2006 and have no problems with it whatsoever. Performance and ride are really good whether in the City or on open road. I get the odd rattle now and then but nothing particularly serious. I have no suffered tyre problems and I am still on the original set ot tyres after 10,000 miles and would say they still have plenty of life in them yet. I would recommend this car as a good all rounder and is good value for money. I will certainly consider another Swift when the time comes to replace my current one.
