    My car

A very good small car. Ours has just reached two years old and covered 30,000 miles. My wife loves it and drives it pretty hard for a 1.0 litre - it's lively and has never missed a beat. The Yaris is not perfect - we had a gearchange mechanism replaced under warranty at 7500 miles to cure a baulky change (apparently a fault on a few cars). Our dealer did the job in a couple of hours and lent us a new Yaris demonstrator to compare, a totally painless experience. The paintwork is a little soft, judging by a couple of stonechips on the front. The car is adequate for space, I'm 6 foot 1 and can drive it in comfort. Would I buy another? Definitely.

    My car

A fantastic five-door town car and a very good investment. I cannot rate this car high enough. It's a 5 star PLUS PLUS

Brilliant, love it. It's easy to drive, cheap on fuel, and I would buy one again.

    My car

The ads are spot-on - my wife loves her Yaris too much.

Ours is 5 years old now, and she won't part with it. It's been utterly painless to own and running costs are remarkably low. Our Toyota dealer is superb, too. Can't recommend this car highly enough.

The only negatives are the boot size (which now seems small compared to a Honda Jazz for example, but cavernous compared to Lupo) and the slightly hard platics on the dash. But these are very minor niggles.

Looks like the only way I'll get to replace our Yaris is if I buy my wife a newer one!
