    My car

I bought a 53 Reg Corsa 1.2 SXI and it has been simply fantastic since i got it. When i picked it up it had a rattle coming from what seemed to be the steering column.

It was identified as a loose bolt in the column which worried me to start with but was fixed under warranty. Since then there have been no problems at all with it.

It is very nice to drive, cheap to run.....a marked improvement on the T reg Escort i had before this one.

I was suprised to read that the 1.2 SXI was 0.2 secs quicker than the 1.6 Finesse Escort (0-60 mph) but after driving the Corsa i can feel that it really does have some go in it. It was pleasantly suprising :)

i would recommend this car to anyone.

    My car

I bought my corsa active new o6 and have had nothing but trouble with it since day 1.Problems include repacing gearbox mounting, sump gasket, anti rollbar bushes, rear axle bushes, grinding brakes, buzzing stereo(which they cant find a fault as yet)replaced exhaust, oil leak,a recall on the abs, also the leather stearing wheel has come unstitched. Some issues with it have not yet been resolved. The car is a wreck and i really dislike it.This being my 4th corsa seems like i picked a bad one...Ive lost my faith in vauxhall and wont be getting another car from them again.

    My car

I have owned this car for 5 months and love it i purchased it with 14000 miles from a dealer. Its great on petrol and insurance and tax is cheap. Inside is roomy and looks nice with silver trim ad feels well built. Seats are comfy but could be abit more supportive. Handling is good with the 15" alloys. Its very easy to drive and is very nippy for a 1.2 and cruises down the motorway easily. Only problem i had was with water under the drivers carpet caused by a blockage under the bonnet next to the pollen filter where water drains away garage fixed it easily.

    My car

I test drive a number of cars, including this one, i owned it for a week and cannot understand why this car is Insurance group 9!!! 0-60mph takes just 8seconds! and a simple remap of the ecu, high intake air filter and free flow exhaust system and you should sprint 0-60 in about 7seconds, leaving the Fiesta ST, Saxo VTS, and other cheap hot hatches in the distance! However - the seats are not supportive enough and the interior feels cheap and un sporty! VERY QUICK! but your have to prove it as it looks no different than a standered 1.4 everyday runner :-( nothing a few mods cant sort out agreed, very fast nippy car - Buy it and go fast! Always stick to the speed limits though, obviously! ;-)
