    My car

wasnt a great fan of the corsa TILL i seen the new model, what an eye catcher especially in black and a test drive is a must, thats what sold it for me. the speed sensative power steering takes a little bit of getting used to, but a dream to park, and so cheap to run,if you want a fun car to drive this is it. some of the reviews say there is poor visability, never caused me any problems at all and i traded in my clio for this, the new clio has no va va voom compared to this, and the safety features are excellent, so C'mon take one for a test drive

I'm not surprised that the Corsa is What Car's Car of the Year. We took delivery of a 1.2 Club a few weeks ago and we're delighted with it. Everything about the car makes you feel that the design team really thought about what they were trying to achieve; this is anything but just another mass produced box.

The car looks great all round, the interior is fitted out with high quality materials, it's well equipped and the ride is amazingly refined and comfortable. The car has impressed us so much that another family member has ordered on!

    My car

I have driven Ford cars for most of my motoring life , and have been only fairly satisfied with their efforts of late , so I thought that for 2007 I would try my first new Vauxhall. After visiting the Lookers of Widnes dealership (thoroughly recommended)and went for a test drive I was hooked .I placed my order 6 weeks ago, and 3 days ago took delivery of a Corsa Club 5door with the extra pack , rain-sensitive wipers and auto lights in Air blue. After my previous Fiesta 1600 everything felt so tight , and completely free of annoying rattles , and very comfortable . There is so much adjustment on the seat and steering column you are almost guaranteed the perfect driving position .The 1400 engine is obviously no ball of fire , but is extremely refined and will loosen up anyway after a few miles. Some of the general adjustments are in various menus and seem quite complicated at first , but thy do get clearer as you get used to them. I do have two small niggles however. Firstly , the tiny glove-box , though to be fair the Club spec. does have an underseat storage box. Secondly, the silver trim around the centre instrument bezel reflects badly on the inside of the windscreen.Personally I think it should have been sprayed black. The gear- box can be a little notchy from first to second , but I am sure this will loosen up with further use. Overall , then, an excellent car .

    My car

Decided it was time to trade in my Fiesta, but with only minimal changes in the 2006 model I headed for the Vauxhall garage. Having learnt to drive in a Corsa C I didn't hold out much hope for the Corsa D as the C was one of the worst cars I’ve ever driven. First impressions were good the 3 door model looked very sleek. Things got better when I looked inside everything was well laid out and appears to be made of good quality materials. So next came the test drive, the steering is light at low speeds but not like jelly when you get out on faster roads, there is plenty of torque from the diesel engine although sadly there is also a little turbo lag. My only other complaint is not about the car but more about the insurance, being a younger driver insurance is slightly higher than its competitors. Overall I was very impressed the car is head and shoulders above the fiesta and 207 (in my opinion). Can’t wait till January 07 to pick up my new Corsa. :)
