    My car

Had to go back to dealer 6 times in the first 3 months due to various problems.

Seat mechanism repeatedly broke and engine kept cutting out. Spare wheel stolen. Essential either to fit a lock or keep it in the boot. Once glitches were resolved I actually found it was an excellent car.

Fuel economy is not amazing for a diesel though; 33mpg in town, 40-45mpg on long journeys. Pillar does create a blind spot so caution needed on roundabouts and pedestrian crossings.

My overall verdict is that it is an excellent car let down by, in my case at least, poor quality control.

    My car

Covering over 60,000 miles in three years, mainly towing a sixteen foot speed boat with four people onboard, the car fitted with cruise control simply eats the miles.

The car is responsive and powerful enough with good gear ratios. The only improvements would be a heated front screen and climate control. It does everything you want it to do well and in five-seater guise it becomes a tardis.

    My car

An excellent all-round car, which handles well, whether empty or fully laden, and is very economical!

    My car

This car can really move. I think it feels quicker than my last 2001 model, a 2.0 Mondeo. I loved that car for the way it drove, but this Zafira sticks to the road like a really good sports car. There's little wind noise or road roar - it really is a driving dream.
