The Jetta is aiming for cars such as the Vauxhall Vectra, Ford Mondeo, Volvo S40 and Toyota Avensis, hence the floor mats and things like that.
I hope its a good seller - I really can't see why you would any other car other the new Jetta.
It definitely scores nine-out-of-ten!
I had decided to buy the new Jetta SE 2.0ltr TDI but to my amazement I was told that there are no plans to have tow bar fittings! Even though the brochure quotes max trailer weights and tow bar limit etc. This is being taken up with VW marketing but it looks like I will have to go for the Passat now.
What a shame, I was impressed with the performance but found the optional extras quite a task to make sure I had what I wanted. Another puzzle, why do you get mats on the Jetta but not on the Passat SE, very odd.
