The 2012 Mitsubishi ASX has been revealed.
The revised ASX has improved fuel economy and CO2 emissions. The 1.8-litre DiD diesel version is now cleaner, with CO2 emissions reduced from 150g/km to 136g/km, lowering its VED banding from F to E. Fuel economy has also improved, from 51.4mpg to 54.3mpg.
The 1.6-litre petrol model has the same CO2 emissions as before, but now returns 47.9mpg, rather than 47.1mpg.
The 2012 ASX also features low-rolling-resistance tyres, regenerative brakes and an intelligent power management system.
The first ASX 4WD diesel models are available in mid-January, priced from 22,749. The revised 2WD diesel models go on sale in late March, with prices starting at 20,599. Petrol versions, starting at 16,499, will arrive during the second quarter of 2012.
