Porsche launches C-Charge petition
* Porsche launches judicial review website * Contests 25-a-day charge on emissions * Emission-based charge in London from October...
Porsche has launched a new website in its attempt to get a judicial review on Ken Livingstone's plans for a 25-a-day congestion charge for London.
The London mayor announced earlier this month that cars with carbon dioxide emissions of over 225g/km would be charged 25 to enter the Congestion Charge zone from next October.
However, Porsche claims that the emissions savings in one year from the charge would be equal to the aircraft emissions of between 4 minutes and at most 4 hours from Heathrow.
People can add their name to a petition against the charge on the website, which is available at www.porschejudicialreview.co.uk.
