The model
Read full reviewThe Audi A1 is a fine car – it's great to drive, comfortable to sit in and is available with lots of big car options. However, if you can live without a posh badge, the Peugeot 208 and VW Polo offer slightly more for less.
The trim
See full equipmentEven entry-level Technik gets an 8.8in touchscreen that’s positioned high up on the dashboard, so you shouldn’t have trouble seeing or reaching it. Apart from that, though, this trim is a little sparse. It really only gets the essentials, with 15in alloy wheels and manual air-conditioning rather than climate control.
The engine
See full engine specsThis 108bhp 1.0-litre three cylinder engine is a great fit for the Audi A1. It delivers more than adequate performance with a reasonable purchase price and easy to swallow running costs.
