Choose carefully and you'll be getting a comfortable and quiet coupe with a very classy interior. True, the A5 could be a little more exciting to drive, but it's still an incredibly rounded car – especially if you opt for the 40 TFSI petrol in entry-level Sport trim.

This popular trim brings sportier styling and bigger wheels than you get with the entry-level Sport. It's quite a bit pricier, though, and its standard-fit sports suspension doesn't deal with bumps as well.
